I don't believe it.

I come into work...as usual. And out of the blue, I receive a DIRECT email from the bastards responsible for destroying the 'IEN'.

Those two...

Still a tad shaken. Got the usual death threats...you know...

I remember that guy's face...just misplaced their names. Going to HR at lunch. Or...thinking about it. Maybe I should go now? This is pretty important.

Yeah.

- A T
Major Spam?

Everyone gets spam. But intelligent spam??

Every couple of minutes, I receive emails from completely random addresses, asking me questions. Are any of them with those hackers? A few even asked me for the IP address that I found.

Hmm...thinking of going to the heads with this after lunch...the whole office is in an uproar over this sorry mess.

Just can't be arsed to do anything at the mo.

Bah...

Martin and his pain in the arse collegue 'Sophia' have been snooping around. She must know that I know something...a woman's intuition they call it. Okay, she has a very nice arse, but I wouldn't want to share a drink with her. Posh bitch.

- A.T.
Beyond Conventions

So. I may actually be on to something. I tried not to bite my lip...but I couldn't help but get excited.

Afterall, how often do you get to take out a cyber terrorist agenda?! They thought they were being clever, coming in through
the satellite array like that...but I saw you. Yeah, not at first, I'll admit...but I saw you. You left some pretty big breadcrumbs behind.

I haven't told anyone yet. Thinking I might just bring this in on my own. Besides, I would imagine Mi:5 would reward someone with these kind of leads with some pretty sweet payoffs?

Time will tell.

Because...thanks to my skills and awesome experience...

...I have an IP.

- A.T.
What A Waste Of Time!!

Fucking hackers!! :(

Within minutes, NO...mere SECONDS!! Our finely tuned 'Intelligence' Network gets pinged offline by some friggin' cyber punks.

We had spent well over 18 months on this project...and we get to the point, finally, where IEN can become green and...BAM. Down she goes, along with the taxpayers money. Shit.

Well...Martin wasn't going to use my shoulder to cry on...his wife was probably looking forward to him coming home!! Ha!!! Sorry Lorraine...he's going to be VERY busy for another 18 months.

We all fucking are. :(

*Explodes*

Christ...I'd like to get my hands on the bastards who let this one fall down flat. Just give me three minutes with them and a nice, wooden baseball bat. It would like to make friends with their knees...oh yes.

I've decided to take a few days off. Called in 'sick'...I just can't be bothered with all this at the moment. The thought alone of having to start from SCRATCH!! Ugghh...every line of code, every file, every folder...poof...gone, just like that.

I'll try to be less arsey tommorow...try not to break any windows with my laptop either.

No promises.

- A.T.
